Hiking paradise in Salzburg – Hotel Post
Salzburg offers its summer visitors many possibilities. But especially the mountains in the province of Salzburg are perfect for short and long hiking trips.
It just takes a few steps to be amidst impressive scenery. The Dachstein is located in the north, in the South you see the Radstädter Tauern with an amazing panorama view.

The Salzburg Almenweg
Radstadt is located on the very famous Salzburger Almenweg which leads, on marked trails, through our scenic mountains on 350 km. On the trails you have the chance to visit some of the 120 “old Austrian style” lodges with their own homemade goat cheese, milk or ham.
One of the most beautiful trails is the Radstadt-Filzmoos trail. It is about 12 km long and leads you through our “house mountain” the Rossbrand from which you have an amazing view.
